- Westchester County law enforcement is launching an anonymous Web tip program -- tip411 -- that will allow anyone with a smartphone, tablet, standard cellphone or computer to text in a tip to the local police department.
- Brian McClellen, the 21-year-old man who was found on fire while attempting to ride on top of a Metro-North train in Greenwich, Conn., on Sunday, has died as a result of his injuries, according to multiple reports.
- A 55-year-old man from Long Island was found dead Thursday morning in FDR Park in Yorktown. New York State Parks Police located the Amityville man after his parents reported him missing, said Randy Simons, the public information officer for the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation.
- Paul E. Cahan, a 69-year-old Cortlandt Manor resident, has been charged with petit larceny after he allegedly fled a Sears without paying for assorted sockets valued at $99.99 on Saturday, Nov. 8, Yorktown police said.
