Bear Mountain Bridge Road In Peekskill Closed Due To Flooding

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. — Bear Mountain Bridge Road has been closed Monday from Ansville Circle to the Bear Mountain Bridge in Peekskill by state police because of flooding from Hurricane Sandy.

The Bear Mountain, Newburgh-Beacon, Mid-Hudson, Kingston-Rhinecliff and Rip Van Winkle bridges are expected to remain open Monday. They will be closed only if sustained winds reach 50 mph.
