Angelica and Dan DiMarco of Harrison attended the game with their son, Luciano, who is developmentally disabled and sometimes wears a helmet to prevent him from banging his head.

In the bottom of the 8th inning, an unidentified man turned around and called Luciano the name, according to a video the DiMarco's posted on Facebook that since went viral. Angelica said she thinks Luciano might have kicked the man's seat out of excitement, according to News12.

The family said Luciano remains tormented following the incident according to the Daily News and they have also faulted the response from the Yankees. The Yankees said the timing of the incident made it difficult to talk to everyone involved and they are hoping to bring the DiMarcos back to the stadium, according to the Daily News.
