Peekskill's Deskovic Follows Jail Time With Masters Degree

PEEKSKILL, NY --  A Peekskill man who did time in prison for a crime he didn't commit received a master's degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice Tuesday, according to Newsday.

Jeffrey Deskovic was sentenced in 1989 for the murder of a city man and served 16 years before he was acquitted of the charges. He received a masters' degree Tuesday.
