PEEKSKILL, N.Y. — The 2012 Peekskill Celebration drew thousands of people to the city Friday and Saturday.

Saturday's dragon boat races drew groups of participants from as far away as Pennsylvania, and hundreds of spectators lined the riverfront to watch the spectacle.

In addition to rides for children, there were plenty of food and craft vendors and community groups on hand for the event, along with live entertainers.
