PEEKSKILL, N.Y. – Maryanne V. Agosta, a lifelong Peekskill resident, died June 2. She was 47.
Agosta was born Aug. 15, 1964, to Brian and Dianne Murphy Lennox. For the last 27 years, she worked as a licensed practical nurse. Agosta worked at Holy Comforter Field Home in Cortlandt Manor for 14 years.
On Oct. 5, 1985, she married Jay N. Agosta at Church of the Assumption in Peekskill. She enjoyed reading.
Agosta is survived by her husband, Jay; a son, Ryan Agosta; her parents Brian and Dianne; a sister, Susan Herb; her fiance, Dan Modica; a brother, John (Joan) Lennox; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at E.O. Curry Funeral Home in Peekskill. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Church of the Assumption.
