Petrower will be responsible for the overall operations at the Cortlandt Manor campus as well as its satellite locations in Croton and Cold Spring.

“Stacey brings a wealth of expertise and talents to the role of COO and is the right leader to further our collective mission to provide the very best healthcare to our patients and their families,” said John C. Federspiel, president of NewYork-Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital, which became a member of the NewYork-Presbyterian Regional Hospital Network in January 2014. “We are very excited to welcome her to the NYP/HVH family.”

Petrower joins NYP/Hudson Valley Hospital from NYP/Weill Cornell, where she was vice president of operations. She began her career in health care operations more than 20 years ago and joined NewYork-Presbyterian in 2003, in leadership roles, first in corporate services and then in operations at both NYP/Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital and NYP/Weill Cornell, both in New York City. She has extensive experience in collaborating with physicians, nurses and staff to enhance nationally recognized clinical service lines and driving improvements in patient experience and employee engagement.

“I am extremely pleased to join the NYP/HVH leadership team. This is an exciting time for the organization and I look forward to working with the team to ensure the residents of the Hudson Valley continue to receive the innovative and compassionate care they expect at NYP/HVH,” said Petrower.

Petrower, a resident of Peekskill, holds a bachelor’s degree in law and society from Binghamton University and a master’s degree in health-care administration from Pace University.
