The money benefits This is Me Foundation, an organization that helps to fund college scholarships for local students who have faced adversity or helped a friend through adversity. Proceeds also benefit students who have alopecia, an autoimmune disease that causes hair loss.

The Polar Plunge was sponsored by The Quiet Man Public House.
