PEEKSKILL, N.Y. – The Peekskill Project, organized by the nonprofit Hudson Valley Center (HVC) for Contemporary Art, runs through the end of the year and has work by 56 artists at 20 locations, The New York Times reports.
This sixth installation includes art painted directly on the walls inside residents’ homes or on the outside of buildings, the article says. HVC director Livia Strausd says the Peekskill Project doesn’t follow a regular schedule but each is meant to have a vision.
