Panel Provides Recommendation For Optimal Amount Of Sleep

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- A recent study by the University of Washington says adults need seven hours of sleep to maintain optimum health, according to the Seattle Times.

Researchers went on to say that seven hours is the low-end of the acceptable threshold and that more is always better. The panel even declined to put a number on the maximum number of hours for sleep, the Seattle Times reported.
