What Makes Their Ice Cream Special: It's an old fashioned recipe, said Deb Hopkins, a Katonah resident who owns King Kone with her husband, Brian.
The nostalgic ambiance also adds some old-fashioned charm. "It's one of the few places that hasn’t been torn down and made into a strip mall," said Hopkins. "I think coming here makes people feel like they are kids again."

Most Popular: King Kone is famous for its soft serve – vanilla, chocolate or twist. Mint chocolate chip is the most popular hard flavor followed by salty caramel pretzel and almond joy; vanilla is the most popular soft.
