The Emmy-winning series used the farm because of its perfect country setting, said the Poughkeepsie Journal.

The show, which offers a look at the life of a group of girls in their mid-20s, will end its award-winning run in 2017, added the Poughkeepsie Journal.

HBO declined to comment on what the episode or scenes filmed at the farm were about, said the Poughkeepsie Journal.

Many production companies film in New York due to a state film tax credit program in which they are eligible to receive up to a 30 percent credit on production costs, added the Poughkeepsie Journal.

Cast and crew will be back in the area on Monday, Sept. 19, when they film at a local restaurant in Hastings-On-Hudson.
