Who's Playing This Week At The Capitol Theatre

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. – This week at The Capitol Theatre you can catch the Counting Crows as they kick off their tour on Tuesday,  

Here’s all the information you need to know about shows at The Cap this week:

Tuesday, Oct. 23

Alternative-rock band Counting Crows’ most recent album, "Underwater Sunshine," was released in April as a compilation of cover songs including “Return of the Grievous Angel” by alt-country singer Gram Parsons and “The Ballad of El Goodo” by Big Star. A band made up of several members of Counting Crows, Tender Mercies, as well as the Boston rock band Mean Creek, will open for Counting Crows.

Tickets are $55 for general admission standing room on the floor or a reserved seat in the loge or balcony. There’s also a “Meet & Greet VIP Package” for $209.25, which includes one premium reserved seat or one General Admission ticket with early entry to the venue, access to the last 20 minutes of the Counting Crows sound check, a meet and greet as well as photo opportunity with select band members, official merchandise items, and a collectible VIP laminate.

Thursday, Oct. 25

R&B/soul legend Al Green has released dozens of albums since 1967 and he continues to tour with songs from his most recent album, "Lay It Down," released in 2008. He has sold more than 20 million records during his career and was inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1995.  

The event is for ages 18 and older. Tickets are $55 for reserved seated on the floor or balcony two, $85 for a reserved seat in balcony one and $99.50 for a reserved seat in the loge.

Saturday, Oct. 27

Grammy-winning folk-rock duo Indigo Girls will play with a full band at The Capitol Theatre. The duo’s most recent album, "Beauty Queen Sister," was released in 2011. The Atlanta-based Shadowboxers will open for The Indigo Girls.

The event is for ages 18 and older. Tickets are $39.50 for all sections of the theater.  

For tickets to all events, visit The Capitol Theatre online. Doors for all shows open at 6:30 p.m. and music begins at 8 p.m. The Capitol Theatre is at 149 Westchester Ave., Port Chester.
