Monday, Nov. 12

Schools Closed: The Peekskill City School District and Hendrick Hudson School District will be closed in observance of Veterans Day.

Peekskill Veterans Day Ceremony: 10 a.m. The Peekskill American Legion hosts the annual ceremony at Memorial Park. City and county officials will attend.

Tuesday, Nov. 13

Teacher in the Library: 4 p.m.-6 p.m. Students can get help with homework from a certified teacher. Field Library, 4 Nelson Ave.

Peekskill Committee of the Whole Meeting: 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be in the Paul Schwerman Conference Room in Peekskill City Hall. 840 Main St.

Peekskill Common Council Meeting: 7:30 p.m. The meeting will take place in the upstairs Common Council Chambers. Peekskill City Hall, 840 Main St.

Peekskill Board of Education Meeting: 7 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Peekskill Middle School cafeteria. 212 Ringgold St.

Wednesday, Nov. 14

Book Babies: 11 a.m.-noon. Stories for children up to age 3. Field Library, 4 Nelson Ave.

Thursday, Nov. 15
