PEEKSKILL, N.Y. – Schools will be closed on Monday and Tuesday for the Rosh Hashanah holiday, but there are plenty of other things to do around the city this week. Check out our Events page for even more things to do.

Monday, Sept. 17

Rosh Hashanah Observed: Peekskill City School District schools and buildings are closed.

Tuesday, Sept. 18

Rosh Hashanah Observed: Peekskill City School District schools are closed but buildings will be open.

Peekskill Committee of the Whole Meeting : 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be in the Paul Schwerman Conference Room in Peekskill City Hall. 840 Main St.

Wednesday, Sept. 19

Book Babies: 11 a.m. Stories for children up to age 3. Field Library, 4 Nelson Ave.

Thursday, Sept. 20

Teacher in the Library: 4 - 6 p.m. Students can get help with homework from a certified teacher. Field Library, 4 Nelson Ave.

The Delfonics Revue: Two shows from 8 to 9:30 p.m. and 10 to 11:30 p.m. Greg Hill, a member of the original Delfonics for more than 15 years, brings the very best of the Grammy-winning group, performing hits like "Didn't I (Blow Your Mind This Time)" and "La-La Means I Love You." Admission is $25.

The Flynn's American Jukebox: 9:30 p.m. - 12:30 a.m. A night filled with all the favorite rock songs you love dancing and singing to. Covers of The Beatles, Tom Petty, The Rolling Stones, "Van the man," Neil Young, The Band, The Eagles, Billy Joel and many more.
