Peekskill Committee of the Whole Meeting: 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be in the Paul Schwerman Conference Room in Peekskill City Hall. 840 Main St.

Tuesday, Dec. 4

Jason C. Paige Health and Fitness Center Ribbon Cutting: 5:30 p.m. The event will take place before the Board of Education meeting at Peekskill High School.1072 Elm St.

Wednesday, Dec. 5

Winter Concert: 7:30 p.m. Furnace Woods Elementary School, 239 Watch Hill Road, Cortlandt.

Tales for Tails: 6 p.m. Children in first grade and up are invited (with a parent) to read to a special dog. All volunteer dogs are certified through The Good Dog Foundation. Registration is required. Field Library, 4 Nelson Ave.
