Friday, Jan. 4

The Real Rough Diamonds: 7:30-10:30 p.m. Performing at the BeanRunner Café, this band blends Americana, garage band bravado and original songwriting, set to stand up bass. Admission is $10. The Bean Runner is at 201 S. Division St., Peekskill.

Petey Hop and the Jack Rabbits: 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. See this blues guitarist at 12 Grapes for a variety of acoustic and electric guitar playing. There is a $5 entertainment fee for all, including diners. 12 Grapes is at 12 N. Division St., Peekskill. Call 914-737-6624 for reservations.

Saturday, Jan. 5

Caregiver Support Group: 9:30-10:30 a.m. This group provides resources and opportunities for relaxation for caregivers of all types, and is presented by Leave the Light On Foundation. Each session has a specific theme. Groups meet at the Hudson Valley Hospital Center's Dempsey House, 1992 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor.

Family Yoga: 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This class is designed for families with children ages 4 and up, and combines games, circus yoga activities, partner work and discussion to quiet the mind. Classes are at Pilates on Hudson, 8 John Walsh Blvd., Peekskill. Admission is $25 per adult and child and $5 for additional participants.

David Kain Group: 7:30-10:30 p.m. This jazz group strayed from the standards years ago and has been performing original compositions since. See this performance at the BeanRunner Café. Admission is $10.

The Blues… Unleashed: 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Prepare to dance and sing with The Blues Dogs at 12 Grapes. There is a $5 entertainment fee for all, including diners.

Sunday, Jan. 6

New York Pet Reptile Exhibit: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. See thousands of live reptiles and amphibians on display for sale as pets at the Westchester County Center, 198 Central Ave., White Plains.

Animal Adventures: Whooo's Out There: 1-2 p.m. Meet a few of Teatown’s ambassador animals in this program featuring owls. Please note this program is for families with children ages 4 and older. This program is free for members and $5 for non-members. Teatown is at 1600 Spring Valley Road Ossining. To register, call 914-762-2912 ext. 110.

Elaine Romanelli: 4-6 p.m. See this poetic singer-songwriter at the BeanRunner Café; no cover charge.

The Trebled Hearts: 6-8:30 p.m. This acoustic guitar duo is made up of Tom Oliverio and Kristina Koller. The pair perform at 12 Grapes. There is an $8 food and drink minimum for all those attending.
