Monday, March 4

Teacher in the Library: 4 to 6 p.m. Students can get help with homework from a certified teacher. Field Library, 4 Nelson Ave.

Peekskill Committee of the Whole Meeting: 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be in the Paul Schwerman Conference Room in Peekskill City Hall, 840 Main St.

Tuesday, March 5

Teacher in the Library: 4 to 6 p.m. Students can get help with homework from a certified teacher. Field Library, 4 Nelson Ave.

Peekskill Board of Education Meeting: 7 p.m. The meeting will follow an executive session at the district's administrative building, 1031 Elm. St.

Wednesday, March 6

Book Babies: 11 a.m. to noon. Stories for children up to age 3. Field Library, 4 Nelson Ave.

Thursday, March 7

BeanRunner Poetry Project: 6 to 9 p.m. From 6 to 6:45 p.m. there will be a free poetry writing workshop facilitated by poets Ibrahim Siddiq and Jamal Spann. Then from 7 to 9 p.m. there will be a poetry open mic hosted by Chance featured several poets. BeanRunner Cafe, 201 S. Division St.

Tales for Tails: 6 p.m. Children in first grade and up are invited (with a parent) to read to a special dog. All volunteer dogs are certified through The Good Dog Foundation. Registration is required. Field Library, 4 Nelson Ave.
