Junior Critics Book Club: 4:30 p.m. A book club for children in grades 5-7. Field Library, 4 Nelson Ave.

Peekskill Committee of the Whole Meeting: 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be in the Paul Schwerman conference room. Peekskill City Hall, 840 Main St.

Peekskill Common Council Meeting: 7:30 p.m. The meeting will take place in the upstairs Common Council Chambers. Peekskill City Hall, 840 Main St.

Tuesday, Nov. 27

Peekskill High School Fair: 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. The event will be held at the Barnes & Noble bookstore in the Cortlandt Town Center. Route 6, Cortlandt Manor.

Thursday, Nov. 29

Peekskill Tale Waggers: 6:30 p.m. Hear stories told by city residents of all ages. Field Library, 4 Nelson Ave.

Wines From Italy Featuring Jon Corbert: 7 to 10:30 p.m. The last Thursday of each month, 12 Grapes presents themed wine tasting events featuring five different wines paired with food samplings from the new chef. This month, it will feature five-time Grammy nominee, pianist Jon Corbert. The price is $30 per person and reservations are required. 12 Grapes, 12 N. Division St.

Matt Turk: 10 p.m. The local musician will perform a free live set for patrons. Birdsall House, 870 Main St.
