PEEKSKILL, N.Y. – Hundreds gathered at the bank of the Hudson River at Riverfront Green Park to watch several boats light up the night.

The Peekskill Yacht Club holds the boat parade every year on the first night of Peekskill Celebration. This year's event benefited from great weather and a healthy attendance at Friday's West Point Jazz Knights concert.

Thunderstorm Warnings Posted For Westchester For Tuesday

WESTCHESTER, N.Y. - The National Weather Service posted a thunderstorm warning for southern Westchester County at 1:50 p.m. Tuesday.

The storms could be accompanied by lightning, hail and high winds of up to 50 mph, the weather service said.
