Peekskill Will Ring In The New Year With Ball Drop

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- The city of Peekskill will celebrate 2015 with a ball drop in downtown Peekskill across the street from the gazebo on Division Street on New Year's Eve, according to a report by The Examiner.

The festivities will begin at 9 p.m. and end with the ball drop at midnight, the report said. The event will feature music from a DJ and a live broadcast by WHUD with Kacey Morabito, the report said. 

A brief special-effects display launched from the roof of the parking garage near C-Town will take place before 2014 ends.
