Twenty-eight people jumped into the frigid Hudson River at the Riverfront Green on New Year’s Day, according to theexaminernews.com.

The funds will benefit the This Is Me Foundation, a nonprofit organization that participates in numerous activities including awarding scholarships to teens who have overcome some type of adversity, theexaminernews.com reported.
