PEEKSKILL, N.Y. – Peekskill's Festa Italiana will begin at 5 p.m. Friday as planned, but the opening ceremony will now be held on Saturday.

The opening ceremony, including the honoring of the Distinguished Italian Citizen, was rescheduled for noon Saturday because of preparation delays caused by inclement weather, city officials said.

Check back for updates if further schedule changes are announced.

Thunderstorm Warnings Posted For Westchester For Tuesday

WESTCHESTER, N.Y. - The National Weather Service posted a thunderstorm warning for southern Westchester County at 1:50 p.m. Tuesday.

The storms could be accompanied by lightning, hail and high winds of up to 50 mph, the weather service said.
