PEEKSKILL N.Y. -- Writing a personal, narrative memoir can be difficult, but on Dec. 2 at 2 p.m., a free event will be held at the Field Library teaching you how to write one.

Louis Alexander, author of Echoes from a Small Country Town will provide the training. You do not have to be a famous person or an author to write a memoir. It does not have to be a full-length autobiography to be a wonderful legacy for your loved ones to cherish.

This event is free of charge and open to the public.

For more information contact Field Library at 914-737-0010 or visit www.peekskill.org .

The Field Library is at 4 Nelson Ave., Peekskill.
