Jefferson Valley Mall Gears Up For Holidays

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Shoppers seeking gifts for the holidays will have 23 hours to buy on Thanksgiving and Black Friday at Jefferson Valley Mall.

“Jefferson Valley Mall is ready to welcome families who will benefit from our extended shopping hours and great sales from nationally recognized and locally owned retailers,” said Alexa O’Rourke, director of marketing and business development at Jefferson Valley Mall. “We are encouraged by the national retail projections and look forward to shoppers taking advantage of our popular selection of stores, holiday festivities and charitable initiatives as they complete their holiday gift list.”

Jefferson Valley Mall will open at 6 p.m. Thanksgiving and close at 1 a.m. The mall will then be open from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m. Black Friday.

After Black Friday, the mall will feature extended hours throughout the holiday shopping season. 

The mall will feature the Santa Photo Experience through Dec. 24. 

Other upcoming events include the Hospice Tree of Life Ceremony at 6 p.m. Friday and Pet Photo Night at 6 p.m. Sunday. 

For Black Friday, shoppers can recharge at Be Scene Spa's "rejuvenation station" from noon to 3 p.m. and participate in canvas painting classes at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. There also will be a bounce house for kids and a visit from Princess Elsa and other costumed characters. 

Kidgits Club's Breakfast with Santa takes place from 8:30-10 a.m. Dec. 5. 

For Caring Santa, children with special needs and their families will enjoy a sensory friendly environment from 9-10:30 a.m. Dec. 6. To register, visit www.simon.com/caring-santa-2015

The mall will feature a special menorah lighting in Center Court and live traditional music at their Chanukah Ceremony at 5 p.m. Dec. 13.
