“I am passionate about supporting our military veterans, and am honored to serve as an ambassador for Hearts for Heroes,” said Lynn in a press release. “The breakthroughs they are making with canine and equine therapy programs are changing the lives of veterans suffering from PTSD.”
Lynn is an ambassador for Hearts for Heroes United States and will share her support for the organization during her concert, according to a press release.
Hearts for Heroes United States assists military veterans in re-acclimating to life at home through therapeutic canine and equine programs. The nonprofit organization rescues dogs from kill shelters and trains abandoned horses to work with veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.
The free concert begins at 7 p.m. The Hearts for Heroes United States booth will be open to share information about the organization and its fundraising programs before, during and after the performance.
In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be moved to Peekskill Middle School.
