PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- The Garden Club of Peekskill will host its "On The Riverfront" flower show later this week at Hudson Valley Hospital Center.
The show will be in the hospital lobby from 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday.
Horticulture entries will be received from 2:30-6 p.m. Wednesday. Entries must follow the following rules:
- Clear glass containers must be used for cut specimens; clear plastic wrap may be used for wedging materials.
- All exhibits must be fresh plant material, grown by exhibitor for at least 3 months prior to the show and free of insects, plant shine or any type of spray residue.
- An exhibitor may enter more than one entry per class or subdivision provided they’re a differ-ent species, variety, etc.
- Double potting is permitted and a saucer may accompany entries.
