During Freedman's interactive performance, the artist will engage in one-on-one and face-to-face discussions with the public about their relationship to the natural world.
"I never developed a relationship with the natural world, and to this day, the 'great out of doors' is a foreign environment to me," says Freedman. The artist was raised in the south side of Chicago and now lives in Westchester County.
Freedman's performance is part of an ongoing series on the significance of direct communication and will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
