Police charge Ramsey man, 42, with alcohol-related rape of woman, 19

MUGSHOT: A Ramsey father sexually assaulted a 19-year-old woman after inviting her to his apartment to play video games and plying her with alcohol, borough police charged.

Terry C. Goodfellow, 42, remained held on $150,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail today, charged with sexual assault and serving alcohol to a minor.

Officers called to the Regency Park Apartment Complex last Wednesday night spoke with the woman, who told what happened, Police Chief Bryan Gurney said.

“After playing video games for a time, Goodfellow tackled her and removed [her] pants,” Gurney said she told them. “Goodfellow then sexually assaulted the victim by digital penetration.”

Detective Marc Shingelo and members of the Bergen County Special Victims Unit investigated.

A July 14 Ramsey Municipal Court date was set.
