Salsa Fresca Mexican Grill is planning its grand opening Sunday, July 17 in the Beach Shopping Center in Peekskill. To celebrate, there will be free burritos from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Owner Marc Miles, a Dutchess County resident, said he chose this location as it "fit our sweet spot that we look for in locations."
If you've never been to a Salsa Fresca, Miles points out that "we're a fast casual Mexican concept that serves burritos tacos, burrito bowls, quesadillas salads and more. All of our food is prepared on site daily. No freezers with daily deliveries. Salsa Fresca is 'Fresh Food You Can Trust.'"
The local franchise prides itself, too, on the fact that all of its utensils and packaging are compostable and made from plant starch and all of the fryer oil is converted into bio diesel.
