Congresswoman Nita Lowey Talks Healthcare At Hvhc

CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- Congresswoman Nita Lowey (D-17) paid her first visit to Hudson Valley Hospital Center Wednesday as part of her new district.

The veteran members of the U.S. House of Representatives and ranking member of the house appropriations committee discussed the Affordable Healthcare Act and other healthcare issues, as well as college loan reform in her hour-long visit.

Lowey also toured parts of the hospital during her visit, including the new Comprehensive Cancer Center and Women's Imaging Center.
